Ford 1.6 and 1.8 liter
Connecting Rod Nut Torque

step 1 = 24 to 30 Nm 18 to 22 lb.ft
step 2 = Further 71 degrees to 79 degrees

Ford 1.6 and 1.8 liter
Main Bearing Bolt Torque

step 1 = 15 to 22 lb.ft 20 to 30 Nm
step 2 = Further 50 degrees to 60 degrees
step 3 = further 20 degrees to 30 degrees


Ford 1.6 and 1.8 liter
Cylinder Head Bolt Torque

Step 1 = 15-22 lb.ft, 20-30 Nm
Step 2 = 56-68 lb.ft,76-92 Nm
Final step = (after 2 minutes)Further 80 degrees to 90 degrees
