MTU183 Essential Diesel Engine Bolt Tightening Torques

 

Main Bearing Cap Screws
Center 156 mm max
step 1 = 100 Nm
step 2 = 200 Nm
step 3 = 330 Nm
step 4 = + 90-100 degrees

Lateral bolts
step 1 = 80 Nm

Connecting Rod Bolts
step 1 = 100 Nm
step 2 = + 90-100 degrees

Cylinder head Bolts
step 1 = 10 Nm
step 2 = 50 Nm
step 3 = 100 Nm
step 4 = 140-150 Nm
step 5 = 180-190 Nm
step 6 = + 90-100 degrees
