MTU 4000 Main Bearing Cap nut torque 

We don't give a value for this procedure because:
it is a complex procedure, requiring special tools.
Consult the workshop manual before attempting this procedure.

Lateral socket-head screws:
Step 1 = 80 Nm
Step 2 = 280 Nm +20 Nm


MTU 4000 Con Rod torque 

step 1 = 25 Nm
step 2 = 240 Nm +20 Nm
step 3 = +90 degrees +10 degrees
step 4 = Checking torque 450 Nm +20 Nm


MTU 4000 Cylinder Head 

step 1 = 25 Nm
step 2 = 180 Nm +10 Nm
step 3 = +180 degrees +10 degrees
step 4 = Checking torque 450 Nm + 20 Nm
