Main Bearing Bolts

Tighten the bolt-operating and non operating side
Stage 1 = 49 +/- 5 Nm

Operating side bolt
Stage 2 = angle 30 degrees

Non-Operating side bolt
Stage 3 = angle 50 degrees

Operating side bolt
Stage 4 = angle 68 degrees
+/- 2 degrees (final)

Non-Operating side bolt
Stage 5 = angle 68 degrees
+/- 2 degrees (final)

Connecting Rod Bolts

(temporary)
Stage 1 = 50 +/- 5 Nm

(temporary)
Stage 2 = 70 +/- 5 Nm
Stage 3 = 137 +/- 5 Nm

Cylinder Head Bolts

Stage 1 = 98 Nm
Stage 2 = 471 Nm
Stage 3 = Loosen all bolts completely
Stage 4 = 98 Nm

Tighten bolts further from step 4 position
(angle gauge use)

Stage 5 = 150 degrees
