Yanmar 6AYM Essential Bolt torques

 
Yanmar 6AYM Main Bearing bolt torque
 

Tighten the bolt-operating and non operating side
Step 1 = 49 +/- 5 Nm
Operating side bolt
Step 2 = angle 30 degrees
Non-Operating side bolt
Step 3 = angle 50 degrees
Operating side bolt
Step 4 = angle 68 degrees +/- 2 degrees (final)
Non-Operating side bolt
Step 5 = angle 68 degrees +/- 2 degrees (final)

Yanmar 6AYM Connecting Rod Bolt Torque
 

First (temporary) = 50 +/- 5 Nm
Second (temporary) = 70 +/- 5 Nm
Third time = 137 +/- 5 Nm

Yanmar 6AYM Cylinder Head Bolt Torque
 

Step 1 = 98 Nm
Step 2 = 471 Nm
Step 3 = Loosen all bolts completely
Step 4 = 98 Nm
Tighten bolts further from step 4 position
(angle gauge use)
Step 5 = 150 degrees
