Main Bearing Bolts


vertical bolts and side bolts
Step 1 = snug all bolts (finger tight)

all vertical bolts
Step 2 = 20 Nm, 15 lb.ft

outer vertical bolts
Step 3 = 80 Nm, 59 lb.ft

inner vertical bolts
Step 4 = 160 Nm, 118 lb.ft

all vertical bolts
Step 5 = + 90 degrees

Side Bolts
Step 6 = 40 Nm, 30 lb.ft
Step 7 = + 90 degrees

Connecting Rod Bolts


Step 1 = 45 Nm, 33 lb.ft
Step 2 = + 90 degrees

Cylinder Head Bolts


V8 Main Cylinder Head Bolts
Step 1 = 20 Nm, 15 lb.ft
Step 2 = 49 Nm, 36 lb.ft
Step 3 = 49 Nm, 36 lb.ft (repeat of step 2)
Step 4 = 49 Nm, 36 lb.ft (repeat of step 3)
Step 5 = + 90 degrees
Step 6 = + 90 degrees (additional to step 5)
Step 7 = + 90 degrees (additional to step 6)

V8 Minor Cylinder Head Bolts
Step 8 = 30 Nm, 22 lb.ft
