International Maxxforce 11 and Maxxforce 13 liter engine Bolt Tightening Torques

 
Maxxforce 11 and Maxxforce 13 liter Main Bearing Bolt torque

Step 1 = 10 Nm, 7.4 lb.ft (2 bolts on Number 6 main bearing cap {cap with the thrust washers})
Step 2 = 10 Nm, 7.4 lb.ft (other main bearing cap bolts)
Step 3 = 100 Nm, 74 lb.ft (2 bolts on Number 6 main bearing cap {cap with the thrust washers})
Step 4 = 100 Nm, 74 lb.ft (other main bearing cap bolts)
Step 5 = 300 Nm, 221 lb.ft (2 bolts on Number 6 main bearing cap {cap with the thrust washers})
Step 6 = 300 Nm, 221 lb.ft (other main bearing cap bolts)
Step 7 = + 90 degrees (2 bolts on Number 6 main bearing cap {cap with the thrust washers})
Step 8 = + 90 degrees (other main bearing cap bolts)

Step 1 = 100 Nm, 74 lb.ft
Step 2 = + 90 degrees

Fit new M18 x 246 Torx bolts

Step 1 = hand tighten
Step 2 = 10 Nm, 7.4 lb.ft
Step 3 = 150 Nm, 111 lb.ft
Step 4 = 300 Nm, 221 lb.ft
Step 5 = + 90 degrees
Step 6 = + 90 degrees
Step 7 = + 90 degrees
